LAURINBURG, N.C. (AP) - Police in Laurinburg say a 15-year-old boy died after he was shot last weekend.

Assistant Police Chief Cliff Sessoms says Amming Tyrek Harrison of Laurinburg had been walking with friends when he was shot several times Saturday night.

Harrison died Sunday in Scotland Memorial Hospital.



Sessoms says someone drove up in a car and begin firing at the group was they walked.

He says police were able to talk with the teen before he died.

No arrests have been made.
