SANTA ANA, Calif. (AP) - Authorities say a woman who was beaten unconscious by five people outside an Orange County nightclub has died.
Santa Ana police tell City News Service that Annie “Kim” Pham of Westminster was removed from life support and died shortly after 12:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Authorities say the 23-year-old Chapman University graduate was outside The Crosby nightclub with friends shortly before 12:30 a.m. Saturday when they got into an argument with another group. Pham was beaten and left unconscious on the sidewalk.
A Santa Ana woman was arrested Monday on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon but police haven’t released her name. Investigators are looking for two more women and two men, all in their 20s.
