GOLDEN, Colo. (AP) - Investigators say someone set seven grass fires in a 2-mile stretch of a street in Jefferson County.

The Sheriff’s Department says the fires were ignited between 8 and 9 a.m. on Monday along West 44th Avenue.

Three fire departments responded and kept the blazes from spreading. No damage was reported to any buildings.



Sheriff’s investigators are asking the public to report any suspicious activity to the department’s tip line at 303-271-5612.
