NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas (AP) - A 7-year-old boy has died after the electric scooter he was operating collided with a pickup truck in a South Texas accident.
New Braunfels police say a preliminary investigation shows Annon Snider drove in front of the truck in a neighborhood. Investigators say the New Braunfels boy was dead at the scene Monday afternoon.
Police say the truck driver remained at the accident site and no charges were immediately filed. Police do not believe alcohol or speed played a role in the deadly wreck.
