VICKSBURG, Miss. (AP) - Bail has been denied to three people who are alleged to have shot an elderly couple during a home invasion on Jan. 14.
The Vicksburg Post reports (https://bit.ly/1emBKiu ) that Warren County Court Judge Johnny Price held a hearing Tuesday.
Sheriff Martin Pace says 20-year-old Rodriquez Lenez Lyons, 23-year-old Tierre Jante Hill and a 17-year-old are each charged with two counts of attempted murder, two counts of armed robbery and burglary.
Pace says a 78-year-old man and his 74-year-old wife were shot during the robbery. The couple has not been identified. Both are recovering from their wounds.
Authorities say the couple had left a casino and were followed home by the three men. Prosecutors say investigators identified the car the men were riding in from casino surveillance.
