SUN VALLEY, Nev. (AP) - Washoe County authorities say a woman is dead and a man was detained after a shooting in Sun Valley.
Washoe County sheriff’s spokesman Bob Harmon says deputies responded to reports of gunfire about 11 a.m. Monday on Carol Drive.
They found a woman dead outside a mobile home, although her cause of death wasn’t immediately clear.
Harmon says deputies detained a man who was being uncooperative.
It wasn’t clear how the man and woman may have been connected. Their identities haven’t been released.
