SYLVESTER, Ga. (AP) - Police in southwest Georgia are hunting two men they say held up a gas station and convenience store in Sylvester.
Sylvester police officers were called to the Flash Foods story on Franklin Street late Sunday at about 10 p.m. They say a pair of armed men robbed the store and ran away, escaping with an unknown amount of money.
No arrests had been reported Monday. It wasn’t known if the store had surveillance cameras that may have videotaped the culprits during the robbery.
Sylvester police are asking the public for any information that may help lead to arrests.
