HILLSBORO, Mo. (AP) - An elderly man has died after being struck by a pickup truck in the eastern Missouri town of Hillsboro, and police are searching for the driver of the truck that hit him.
KMOV-TV (https://bit.ly/1aEsNQS ) reports that the 80-year-old victim was struck shortly after 6 a.m. Monday on Route B near Highway 30 in the Jefferson County town. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released, and it wasn’t immediately clear what he was doing in the roadway.
Officers are searching for a maroon Ford Ranger.
