MOUNT SINAI, N.Y. (AP) - A man has been arrested for allegedly stabbing his landlord’s son with an ice pick over the weekend.
According to Newsday (https://bit.ly/1f5rGcF ), Ulesses Andrade of Mount Sinai was arrested on Saturday night and held on $600,000 bond or $200,000 cash bail.
Suffolk County police charged him with assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
The 24-year-old victim was taken to a hospital where he was treated and released.
Police say Andrade allegedly stabbed the man during a dispute.
Andrade lived in a rental on the Mount Sinai property that the victim’s father owned. The nature of the dispute was not disclosed.
The suspect is due back in court on Wednesday.
