CRESWELL, Ore. (AP) - Fire officials say a woman died when she was trapped inside a burning home in Creswell.

Three other people were taken to the hospital as a precaution and later released.

The Register-Guard reports (https://is.gd/mdBxGL ) firefighters were dispatched Friday night to the fully involved fire and a report that someone was trapped.



A division chief for South Lane Fire and Rescue says it took firefighters two hours to put out the fire, and a woman’s body was found inside the destroyed home.

Investigators were trying to determine the fire’s cause Saturday.

Creswell is about 15 miles south of Eugene.
