FAIRLEE, Vt. (AP) - Vermont farmers are talking up the latest trends in raising livestock as they take part in the 18th annual Vermont Grazing and Livestock Conference at the Lake Morey Resort in Fairlee.

The event, which began Friday and concludes Saturday, is featuring a range of workshops for farmers of all experience levels, sizes and types.

There’s also one-on-one business planning with the New Farmer Network, sessions devoted to kids learning new skills, and live cattle and swine demonstrations.



The event has been organized by the Vermont Grass Farmers and Vermont Beef Producers associations.
