LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Arson investigators in Louisville say a fire at a condominium complex may be related to a string of holiday wreaths that were set ablaze over the holiday season.
WHAS-TV in Louisville reported (https://bit.ly/Kr5waL ) that McMahon firefighters suspect arson in two fires set Friday morning in the Atrium at Stonybrook Condominiums. The complex is close to the Hikes Point neighborhood where a string of Christmas wreath fires occurred during December. Arson investigators say the time of day and location of the condo fires led them to suspect a connection.
Atrium at Stonybrook Association President Judy Guittar says the sprinkler system at the complex wasn’t working because of the freeze, but a rapid response by firefighters kept the blaze from getting out of control.
