NORMAN, Okla. (AP) - Police in Norman are investigating a recent rash of thefts of air conditioning units.

Capt. Tom Easley told The Norman Transcript (https://bit.ly/1eTYvel ) that 18 air conditioning units have been reported stolen since November in various parts of the city.

Police say the suspects are going to homes with “For Rent” or “For Sale” signs and appear to be repairing the units, but instead are stealing the units from outside the homes.
