GARNER, Iowa (AP) - A 35-year-old Eldora man has been sentenced to 14 years in federal prison for trying to entice someone under 16 to engage in sex and for distributing child pornography.
The Mason City Globe Gazette reports (https://bit.ly/1h0R7xg) that Kevin Trittien was sentenced Thursday after pleading guilty in October in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Iowa.
In addition to his prison sentence, he was fined $8,000.
Trittien also must also register as sex offender when he’s released from prison.
