DETROIT (AP) - Musician Sheryl Crow is scheduled to perform at the black-tie charity preview for the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
Friday night’s performance comes a day before the show opens to the public. Dignitaries including Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder and Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan have cut the ribbon for the charity preview.
The performance is set for the new Cobo Atrium, after the show floor closes. Tickets for the charity preview were $350 each.
Since 1976, organizers say the charity preview has raised more than $91 million for a number of southeastern Michigan children’s charities.
The auto show runs through Jan. 26.
