RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) - No one was hurt when a runaway dump truck in Rapid City plowed through a residential neighborhood and crashed into a house.

Police say the driverless truck’s journey started at a construction site. The truck rolled down a hill and hit a parked car, a fire hydrant and an electrical box before finally pushing another parked car into a house.

People were in the home at the time but were not harmed.

Authorities believe a mechanical failure led to the incident but they’re still investigating. A damage estimate was not immediately released.
