HATBORO, Pa. (AP) - Authorities say a car was hit by a commuter train in Montgomery County and the driver was taken to a local hospital in extremely critical condition.

Officials say the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority regional rail train collided with a car at a rail crossing around 9 p.m. in Hatboro. The car was pushed about 40 feet down the track and the driver was trapped inside of the car for 20 minutes.

SEPTA says no one on the train was hurt and that shuttle buses were running between Willow Grove and Warminster stations.
