HAMBURG, Germany (AP) - Hamburger SV says it has signed Dutch forward Ola John from Benfica on loan until the end of the season.

John knows Hamburg coach Bert van Marwijk from their common days at Twente, before John’s departure for Benfica.

Hamburg is also hoping to sign another Dutchman, Ouasim Bouy, from Juventus. Bouy has already trained with Hamburg but the club says details still need to be worked out.
