ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - Authorities say a 37-year-old man is facing charges in connection with an Albuquerque-area shoplifting ring.
Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Aaron Williamson said the man was arrested Thursday following a four-month investigation into the Mexico Lindo grocery store.
He said authorities also served a warrant at Mexico Lindo, which investigators believe is part of a hub of a large-scale shoplifting ring. Williamson said more than $100,000 stolen merchandise was found.
A phone call to a number listed for the Albuquerque South Valley store was not answered.
