MERIDEN, Conn. (AP) - A building in Meriden has been evacuated following the collapse of a wall. No injuries have been reported.

The building has businesses including a hair salon and convenience store on the first floor and apartments on the higher floors.

The Record-Journal reports that police and fire personnel hurried people away from the building, saying it was unstable.
