SPARTANBURG, S.C. (AP) - Spartanburg County sheriff’s deputies are investigating the thefts of some equipment from Croft State Park.
Deputies say the thefts occurred Sunday night or early Monday morning.
WYFF-TV reported (https://bit.ly/L42utC ) that a sheriff’s report said that someone broke the lock on the entrance gate at the park and took an all-terrain vehicle, a pressure washer, a marine battery and a trolling motor.
The report says the stolen equipment was valued at about $2,000.
At least one storage building was damaged during the break-in.
