Slaying victim found in central Ohio

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - Police say they found the body of a dead man near Interstate 670 in central Ohio.

Columbus police say 27-year-old Lorenzo D. Mason was found shot to death in the woods on the east side of the city Tuesday night. They say it’s likely a homicide.

Investigators are trying to find out what happened and how the body got there. There are no suspects yet.

It’s the city’s fourth homicide of 2014.
