POLLOCK, La. (AP) - The medium-security Federal Correction Institution in Pollock remains on lockdown following Sunday fights that sent six inmates to the hospital.

Prison officials tell The Town Talk (https://townta.lk/1d42Kmi ) “multiple fights” took place among inmates on the recreation yard.

Officials say six inmates sustained injuries and no staff members were injured during the incident.



The facility, which houses about 1,600 inmates, is one of three at the Federal Correctional Complex in Pollock.
