YORK, Pa. (AP) - A jury has found a central Pennsylvania man guilty of fatally stabbing his ex-girlfriend’s boyfriend as he slept in bed.
The York County jury deliberated about four hours before convicting 25-year-old Joshua Lookingbill on Wednesday of second-degree murder and burglary charges in the January 2013 slaying of 37-year-old Nakia Williams.
Prosecutors said Lookingbill broke into the York home of Olga Cuadra - the mother of his three daughters - and attacked Williams as the victim and Cuadra lay sleeping in her bed.
Lookingbill will be formally sentenced on Feb. 25. A second-degree murder conviction in Pennsylvania carries a mandatory life sentence without the possibility of parole.
