GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) - A Fargo man accused of assaulting two Amtrak train conductors while drunk has been sentenced to serve 15 days in jail.

KNOX radio reports that 29-year-old Preston Freeman pleaded guilty this week to misdemeanor simple assault. He will be on unsupervised probation for a year following his jail time.

Authorities say Freeman assaulted the conductors on Jan. 10 after the train left Grand Forks. The incident forced the train to make an unscheduled stop in Larimore.
