33-year-old man dies in Farmer City house fire

FARMER CITY, Ill. (AP) - DeWitt County officials have released the name of a 33-year-old man who died after in a Farmer City house fire.

County Coroner Randall Rice says Justin R. Wood died Tuesday afternoon.

The Champaign News-Gazette reports (https://bit.ly/1fxIZb6 ) an autopsy is expected to be performed Wednesday in McLean County.

Farmer City fire investigators say it’s too early to say how and where Tuesday’s blaze began. The state fire marshal’s office is helping with the investigation.

Farmer City is about 20 miles northwest of Champaign.
