NEW YORK (AP) - New York City police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect who raped a woman in the East Village.
Police say it occurred on East 7th Street around 3:30 a.m. Monday.
They say the victim was walking into her apartment when the suspect pushed her inside and forcibly raped her.
Police released a video of the suspect and ask anyone with information about the incident to call Crime Stoppers at 800 577-tips.
