PLANT CITY, Fla. (AP) - Authorities say two people were killed when their car was hit by a semi-truck at a Tampa Bay area intersection.
Plant City police report that the victims’ were turning through and intersection Monday afternoon when the semi hit the driver side of their car. The collision sent both vehicles into the center median.
The driver and passenger in the car died. The truck driver was not injured.
Police weren’t immediately naming the victims. No charges have been filed.
