DUBUQUE, Iowa (AP) - A 49-year-old Dubuque woman who bit a Dubuque police officer has been given two years of probation.
The Dubuque Telegraph Herald says (https://bit.ly/1eA18jm ) Debra Curiel was sentenced on Friday. A 180-day jail sentence and $625 fine were suspended.
Police say Curiel bit Cpl. Brian Jobgen when he responded to Hillcrest Family Services on Nov. 20. Police say Curiel also assaulted two Hillcrest staffers.
In November Curiel was given three days in jail for biting a Hillcrest staff member in October.
