WILMINGTON, Vt. (AP) - Officials in the Vermont town of Wilmington are discussing a fund to assist with emergencies.

The proposal will come up for residents on Town Meeting Day.

Selectboard members would need to decide if they want to include both “emergency” and “disaster” in the title of the fund.

The Brattleboro Reformer (https://bit.ly/L1zWlc) reports undecided is whether $100,000 from the fiscal year surplus of nearly $600,000 would be used for the fund.
