HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (AP) - Huntsville police say they’ve arrested a teenager in a shooting a nightclub on Jan. 11.

In a release Monday, police said the teen who was arrested has a prior criminal history and that evidence indicates that the shooting stemmed from a fight inside the Benchwarmer bar. The teen has been taken to the Robert Neaves Detention Center and is charged with five counts of assault.

Police say two of the shooting victims were juveniles and three other victims were adults.

The bar’s liquor license requires patrons to be 19 to enter and 21 to drink. Police say the bar’s liquor license has also been suspended, and the Alabama Beverage Control Board is helping the Huntsville Police Department with their investigation.

The suspect’s identity has not been released.
