PRESQUE ISLE, Maine (AP) - An investigation is underway after three handguns were stolen from a vehicle in Presque Isle.

Police say the owner called at about 9 a.m. Saturday to report the burglary.

WABI-TV (https://bit.ly/1cda7Ed ) reports that the guns were stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the owner’s driveway either late Friday night or early Saturday morning.



No serial numbers were made available.

Police are reminding residents to remove all valuable from their vehicles and keep them locked.

Anyone who knows anything about the theft is asked to call police.
