BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - Baton Rouge homicide detectives are investigating the fatal shooting of a 16-year-old boy at his home.

The Advocate reports (https://bit.ly/KfVVDG ) the shooting happened at 11:30 a.m. Monday. The victim, identified as Patrick Williams, had been living for the past two months at the home where the shooting occurred.

Police said Williams was shot several times.



Cpl. Don Coppola Jr., a police spokesman, said investigators do not know the motive of the shooting and have no suspects.

Dr. Beau Clark, the parish coroner, said an autopsy is scheduled Wednesday.
