JACKSON, Wyo. (AP) - The avalanche danger in western Wyoming is high because of strong winds and heavy snow.

Bridger-Teton Avalanche Center is warning against travel in avalanche terrain at least through Monday at noon. The advisory covers the Teton, Gros Ventre, Snake River, Salt River, Wyoming Ranges and the Togwotee Pass area.

The Jackson Hole Daily (https://bit.ly/19phRrU ) reports that a snowmobiler was injured in a slide on Friday near Ski Lake, a popular hiking, skiing and snowmobiling area reached from the Idaho side of Teton Pass. He was buried but his companions were able to dig him out.

A skier was also buried up to the waist while skiing on Mount Glory on Thursday.
