BESSEMER, Ala. (AP) - A Fairfield city councilman has been found guilty of child enticement and sexual abuse.

AL.com reports (https://bit.ly/KWIWaw ) that Primus Mack was found guilty Monday afternoon but was cleared of a harassment charge.

One of Mack’s juvenile relatives alleged that he groped and kissed her in 2011, and a second relative later made similar accusations.



One of Mack’s attorneys, Tamara Harris Johnson, says that Mack’s legal team plans to file an appeal.

Mack is scheduled to be sentenced on March 6.
