GREAT FALLS, Mont. (AP) - A two-vehicle crash on icy U.S. Highway 87 near Box Elder killed a 17-year-old Shawmut girl and injured a 30-year-old Havre woman.
The Hill County sheriff’s office says Dusty Taber was northbound at 6:17 p.m. Sunday when she lost control of her car and collided with an oncoming car in the southbound lane.
The Montana Highway Patrol tells the Great Falls Tribune (https://gftrib.com/1ceQZWC ) that both were taken to the hospital in Havre, where Taber was pronounced dead. The extent of the woman’s injuries was not immediately available. Her name hasn’t been released.
