NEW YORK (AP) - A worker at a Brooklyn car wash was killed in an auto accident.
Police say the unidentified man was attempting to move an SUV from a lot Sunday afternoon when the vehicle suddenly lurched into Atlantic Avenue and was struck by a car traveling westbound.
Police say the collision ejected the man from the vehicle, which then ran over him before coming to a stop after striking a fire hydrant. Police say the man was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The driver and a passenger in the car remained at the scene and were taken to a hospital with complaints of pain.
Police are still investigating.
