ABERDEEN, S.D. (AP) - The trial of a South Dakota man accused of threatening a judge is slated to begin in Aberdeen.
Seventy-seven-year-old Eugene Paulson, of Rosholt, is charged with felony counts of threatening or intimidating a judicial officer and offering a false or forged document for filing. He faces a misdemeanor count of uttering a simulated process.
The Aberdeen American News reports (https://bit.ly/1gf6vp6) that the charges stem from alleged threats made and documents Paulson attempted to file in a foreclosure matter.
Jury selection in Paulson’s trial is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. Monday.
