LAWTON, Okla. (AP) - Police in Lawton say three people have been arrested in connection with two separate slayings in the southwestern Oklahoma city in the past week.
Police told reporters that a 40-year-old man was arrested Saturday in the death of 21-year-old Julian Alexander Nolan Humphrey. Police say officers responding to a report of shots fired on Friday found Humphrey dead at a home on the city’s southwest side.
Police also reported the arrests of two 21-year-old men in Thursday’s death of 23-year-old James Kemp. Officers say Kemp was found Thursday morning at a home in northwest Lawton and died later at a local hospital of what was termed an “unknown wound.”
