Work will close highway in Lincoln Parish

DOWNSVILLE, La. (AP) - Authorities in Lincoln Parish say a segment of Louisiana Highway 822 will be closed for several weeks starting on Monday.

The News-Star reports (https://tnsne.ws/1g36ANV ) the highway will be closed between Louisiana Highway 145 and Louisiana Highway 33 while construction crews replace drainage pipes under the roadway.

The work is expected to be completed by Feb. 28.
