BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - MDU Resources Group Inc. says its utility businesses have surpassed 1 million customers in eight states.
The Bismarck-based energy, mining, construction and utilities company says the milestone was reached late last year.
MDU Resources Group is the parent company of Montana-Dakota Utilities, which provides electricity to parts of the Dakotas, Montana and Wyoming.
The utility is part of MDU-Resources’ electric and natural gas distribution group that includes utilities in Minnesota, Idaho, Oregon and Washington.
