PRESTON, Conn. (AP) - Connecticut state police are holding a 40-year-old man on a $100,000 bond after he got into a fight with another man in Preston, leaving both of them with stab wounds.

Police say in a statement released Saturday that troopers were sent to a home on Route 2A following a report that two men were stabbed there on Friday.

Investigators determined that Jason Thornton got into a fight with another person at the home and they both suffered laceration injuries. He was treated at a local hospital and state police later took him into custody on the charges of second-degree assault and disorderly conduct.

It was not immediately clear if Thornton has legal representation.
