CARLSBAD, N.M. (AP) - Federal authorities and Carlsbad police are searching for a couple suspected of robbing a bank and fleeing on a motorcycle.

The FBI says a man and a woman walked into Western Commerce Bank on Friday around 2:40 p.m. and the man pointed a handgun at a customer and bank tellers.

Frank A. Fisher, spokesman for the FBI’s Albuquerque division, says the woman then took money from a teller’s drawers.

Fisher says they were seen heading south on a blue Harley Davidson.

Authorities say the man wore a mask, red hoodie and light-colored gloves. He is described as tall, heavy-set and possibly Hispanic.

The woman also wore a mask, a green hooded jacket, blue jeans and dark gloves. She is described as slender and either white or Hispanic.
