WILDWOOD, N.J. (AP) - Wildwood is hoping to find some tax relief from a beach bar.

The Jersey shore town has accepted a bid from a group of Philadelphia-area club and restaurant owners to operate the bar starting this summer. The group must first obtain a liquor license.

Beach Buddy LLC is offering the city $55,000 for the first year and more money in years to follow.

One of the partners, Anthony Morrison, tells The Press of Atlantic City (https://bit.ly/LEkPOb ) they’re looking to secure assets to move ahead with their plan.

Their proposal calls for converting shipping containers with sides that open into a family-friendly environment that would provide food, alcohol, lounges and a volleyball area between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m.
