ST. LOUIS (AP) - A St. Louis man who pleaded guilty to mailing cat feces to a local company where he couldn’t find work has been sentenced to two years of probation.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch (bit.ly/LFbfKW ) reports that 58-year-old Jevons Brown was sentenced Friday for the misdemeanor offense of mailing injurious articles.
The plea agreement says Brown became frustrated when he had trouble landing a job. He apologized in court and said he was receiving counseling.
A federal prosecutor and Brown’s public defender both said they agreed with the sentence. Brown has since found a job.
