TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Tucson firefighters helped three people get out of a burning apartment early Friday morning.
One of those assisted was a paraplegic who’d been carried by his brother to another room when firefighters arrived in response to multiple 911 calls.
Firefighters had to evacuate adjacent apartments, and a total of five people were displaced by the fire.
One person was transported to a hospital for smoke inhalation.
Cause of the fire is under investigation.
