BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - Law enforcement officers arrested seven suspects Friday who they say are associated with the “Big Money Block Boyz,” a gang known drug and gun violence.

The Times-Picayune reports (https://bit.ly/1g3Ddeo ) members of the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office, Baton Rouge Police Department, Louisiana State Police, the Drug Enforcement Administration, the FBI, Iberville Parish Sheriff’s Office and West Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office delivered search warrants around 6 a.m.

Authorities say they seized eight pounds of marijuana, 310 grams of cocaine, a bulletproof vest, more than $1,600 in cash and 13 firearms, three of which were had been reported as stolen.



The suspects were booked on a variety of drug and firearms charges.
