KENNEWICK, Wash. (AP) - A 19-year-old who pleaded guilty to helping kill a man in a Benton City church parking lot was sentenced Thursday to 13 years in prison.
Noel A. Gonzalez apologized in Benton County Superior Court to the family of 55-year-old Michael Edwards for their loss and pain.
The Tri-City Herald reports (https://bit.ly/1gacBY0) Gonzalez pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and burglary.
The co-defendant accused of the September stabbing, Noah Matlack, is set for trial in April.
