LAS VEGAS (AP) - Authorities have identified a man and woman who died after a pickup truck crossed a median on a Las Vegas road and hit their car head-on.
Clark County coroner’s officials say 20-year-old driver Savanna Gonzales and 31-year-old passenger Frank Spenia were killed in the crash about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday. Both were from Las Vegas.
Nevada Highway Patrol trooper Loy Hixson says a pickup truck was westbound on Summerlin Parkway, near Rampart Boulevard, when it crossed into oncoming traffic and hit a sedan.
Troopers say Gonzales and Spenia were killed on impact. The truck driver was taken to University Medical Center in critical condition.
