Pedestrian killed in hit and run identified

WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - Wilmington Police have identified the pedestrian struck and killed in a hit and run.

Officers say 57-year-old Tony Davis of Wilmington was hit after he fell in the road on West 2nd Street early Saturday. Davis was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

Authorities say a red pickup truck with a horizontal stripe running the length of the vehicle left the scene after hitting Davis.

Anyone with information about the truck is urged to call police.
